YOU AT THE END OF 2026 VS YOU WHEN YOU START LOCKING IN NOW
July 29 2026 – Delikate Rayne
Are you feeling like you may not reach those target goals you set at the beginning of the year? Are you fearful that you might not have time to achieve what you set out to do? Dragging behind or just barely getting by is a common feeling. The habits you make now can vastly impact how your end of year looks. Here are some ways you can still lock in and end the year feeling proud of yourself:

1. Making progress when you start that thing today vs Waiting till next month (aka never):
The more you keep giving goals, ambitions, and dreams an imaginary timeline - the further away those goals actually are. Don't have time to start? Start it now even if it's only 10 minutes. Don't wait until next month becomes a year - becomes never. If you start today, you will have had almost four months of progress by the time you finish the year.
2. Being consistent vs Putting things off or being inconsistent
Consistency means consistent gains. If you start things only to stop them, you create a habit of dropping things. Don't let this habit become a pattern. Build a foundation and watch it grow.
3. Having extra time to start new projects vs Being swamped in all the things you didn't do
If you lock in now, you might actually finish those goals earlier than you think, and all it took was a little push. Don't end the year obsessing over the things that you didn't or couldn't do. End it saying, "What else can I do?"
4. Being comfortable in the place you started vs Comparing yourself to others
In order to make any sort of progress, you have to accept and be comfortable at the level you are now. Beginner? Intermediate? Not feeling as confident about where you should be? If you compare yourself to others who are farther along, you are doing yourself a disservice. They were once in the place you started too - but they kept going.
5. Does it even when you don't feel like doing it vs Does it only when you feel motivated
This is the difference between waking up and doing the work versus waking up and deciding you'll do it another day. Discipline is doing it even when it doesn't feel fun. Even when you're bored. Even when you hate doing it. But the more intense the discipline - the greater the reward!
6. Realizing your dreams vs Only fantasizes or thinks about your dreams
Envision yourself at the end of the year. You're happy. You feel accomplished. Most of your goals were met. You can be that person at the end of the year if you put in the work now.
7. Saying no to bad decisions vs Saying yes to impulsive decisions
Every little habit and choice you make shapes your future. You don't have to make big changes to have an impact. Subtly adjusting a habit can serve you big time in the long run. Those impulsive decisions can affect you in ways that you could not predict. If you practice choosing the best for yourself, you can only receive the best outcomes.
Every move present you makes determines the life future you have at the end of the year. Don't start next year feeling burnt out - start it feeling empowered. Start it on the right foot - a continuation of the hard work you put in over the next few months. It's never too late to change your life - so lock in now and watch the transformation.
