LIFE ADVICE YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE YOUNG TO LEARN
May 12 2026 – Delikate Rayne
Not ever really sure if you're on the path that was truly meant for you? While it is true that the older you are, the more experience you gain, age isn't innately tied to wisdom. You can be aware at any age. If you are looking for some motivation, here are six small things you don't have to be young or old to learn:

1. Don't wish and dream - just do: Chasing your dreams or making big goals is easier said than done and some goals take longer than you would like them to. However, it is better to live a life filled with failure than one of regret. At the end of your life, you will think most on the things you didn't do rather than the things you did.
2. Don't stress about things you won't worry about in ten years: Relationships, interpersonal drama, the way that you look. If it is not something that will serve you in ten years time, let it go. Only focus on the things that will build your character and enhance your life.
3. Take as many pictures as you can now: Nostalgia can be a powerful thing. Pictures help us immortalize ourselves and important moments with the people around us. When those moments and people fade, you will be left with that reminder.
4. Every conversation is an important interaction - you never know how that person will change your life: We meet so many people each day, we never stop to think what is on the other side of a conversation. The value a person can bring to your life is immeasurable even if the only thing you receive from the interaction is happiness. Treat each person you interact with, no matter how brief the conversation, as someone who could change your life. Try and be that person for them.
5. You can always learn and develop skills no matter what age you're at: Age has nothing to do with skill. Whether you are young and old, any skill you learn will require a significant amount of time to pass by. Focus on the outcome - not the stigma attached to learning something late in life.
6. The time you put into your health and diet is the time you get to spend with loved ones: We all want to be here for a long time so we can spend as much time as we can with the people we love. Don't be negligent about your health - remember to take those multivitamin gummies, commit to eating more plant-based, and get in those hours of cardio per day. The healthier you are, the more longevity you will feel.
The best advice is the simplest. Whether you are young or old, there is no time limit on becoming the best version of yourself.
