FONDUE LIFE

June 28 2017 – Delikate Rayne

Alright ladies, it’s Friday night and you’ve got a hot dinner date planned at home for your boo. Your only problem? What to cook that’ll be sure to put the feeling of love in the air (and maybe into your SO too). Ever heard of an aphrodisiac? They’re a food or drink that can potentially excite your sexual drive. Red wine with dinner is a good place to start, being known as a common aphrodisiac. Follow up your dinner with this homemade dark chocolate fondue, with natural caffeine and phenylethylamine (a component that stimulates a sense of well being) you’ll be certain to win over your SO’s heart tonight!

Vegan Dark Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients:

-1, 12 oz bag of dark chocolate chips (make sure they’re dairy free!)

-2 Tbsp of coconut oil

- a pinch of salt

In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips with the coconut oil. Microwave in 15-20 second increments and stir until fully melted, this ensures that the chocolate will not burn. The melting of the chocolate can also be completed in a double boiler over stove top on low heat. Once the chocolate mixture is smooth and glossy, finish with a pinch of salt. Serve in a fondue bowl with a candle underneath (if you have one, if not a regular bowl works fine) with your favorite fruits, cakes, crackers, and goodies!
