UH NO THINK AGAIN

August 15 2016 – Delikate Rayne

Today on DR Diary we’re going to debunk some of fashions most common myths. Starting off with our first and most popular fashion myth: no white after Labor Day.
Nowadays it’s very easy to incorporate the color white into your Fall and Winter wardrobe (while still looking incredibly fashionable). Try a white sweater dress, or even a white faux fur vest to add some brightness into your Fall and Winter style
Next: you shouldn’t mix prints. While print mixing is slowly but surely making its way to the mainstream, a lot of people still see it as a big NO. Although it may be tricky to get right at first, mixing prints is definitely something anybody can pull off. The trick is mixing a big print with a smaller one. For example: a floral skirt with big flowers paired with a shirt with tiny polka dots.
Third: no socks and open toed shoes. While this bold style is not as popular as our previously mentioned two, it’s still becoming widely popular. Socks with open toed shoes is the perfect way to transition your summer shoes into the fall. Try these bold red over-the-knee socks with these black faux leather chunky heels.
Lastly: stick to only one statement piece. While sticking to only one statement piece is totally fine, more than one statement piece is the perfect attention grabber. Pair a bold statement necklace with equally as bold earrings. Wear them with a casual outfit for the perfect contrast.
